Do I need advanced computer skills to excel in this program?

Can you navigate a computer comfortably? Can you search the web? Are you confident using Microsoft Office applications like Word? Then you already know all that you need to know to start with LIT! We’ll take it from here and teach you everything you need to know for a powerful career in information technology with Splunk.

I have no IT experience, will I be able to do the program?

Of course! Most of our graduates have no IT background or prior experience. Our program is designed to accommodate all levels of previous knowledge.

At LIT, we recognize that old learners and new students have the same thing in common – they need someone to teach them the newest developments with the most in-demand skills. That’s what we are here to do!

I have no college degree, can I still get into the field of IT?

Yes, you can! Our graduates have gone on to accept 6-figure offers with only a High School diploma and their Splunk certification with LIT.

A career in information technology does not require a college degree— and for good reason! How would we have advancements in technology around the world, if we had barriers like college degrees in our way? Universities take time to develop, approve, and update curricula. Plus, the technology housed in the classroom is often outdated soon after the budget gets approved. And while many schools claim to have “industry professional instructors,” many are retired and have fallen behind on the newest industry developments. Or if they are still working, they like to save the best tips and tricks for themselves.

On the other hand, with LIT, our instructors are all active industry professionals who want to see others succeed as they have! Our curriculum is constantly being updated to match the climate that our experts face in the field. Plus, when you learn from your preferred location, you are not confined to an old building with archaic technology.
